DNSSEC — Security for Your Domain

DNSSEC (Domain Name System Security Extensions) is a security technology that protects the DNS system from data spoofing and ensures that users reach your real website instead of a fake one.

With DNSSEC, every DNS response is protected with a cryptographic digital signature, allowing the system to verify the authenticity of the information.

What is DNSSEC

DNSSEC is an extension of the Domain Name System (DNS) that adds cryptographic protection to DNS records.

Without DNSSEC, attackers can manipulate DNS responses and redirect users to malicious websites.
DNSSEC prevents such attacks by verifying the authenticity of DNS data at every step of the DNS request process.

How DNSSEC Works

  1. A user enters a domain name in the browser.

  2. The DNS server sends a response along with a cryptographic signature.

  3. The resolver verifies the signature using the DNSSEC chain of trust.

  4. If the signature is valid, the user receives the correct IP address of the website.

Benefits of DNSSEC

Protection against DNS spoofing and attacks
Verification of DNS data authenticity
Increased domain security
Additional protection for users
Compatible with SSL/TLS certificates
